Where does Linalool come from?
It naturally occurs in many trees, plants, and herbs, including camphor trees, lavender, thyme, and basil. Most commercially available Linalool is derived by steam distilling the branches and leaves of Cinnamomum camphora.
What is Linalool used for?
Supplements containing this terpene are experiencing a surge in popularity due to its potential to interact synergistically with other molecules that bind to CB1 and CB2 receptors. It doesn’t lead to any psychoactive effects, but it could produce calming or sedative effects. This cooperative effect is commonly referred to as the “Entourage Effect.”
How to use Terpene Isolate
How people use terpenes and the quantities they add to various concoctions is a personal preference. However, pure terpenes are extremely strong and research is advised prior to using terpene isolates.
